Independent Advocacy

  • Safeguards the most vulnerable people with disabilities 

  • Assists people with disabilities to navigate complex and often harmful systems

The Combined Advocacy Groups of Queensland (CAGQ) consists of 12 Commonwealth and State funded organisations who are committed to the provision of independent social advocacy. 


CAGQ Mission: 

To promote and safeguard advocacy which defends and advances the rights, needs and interests of people with disabilities.


CAGQ Goal:

To promote an awareness of the significance of independent advocacy for people who have a disability to Government, instrumentalist and the Queensland community generally.
